Filters and magnetics: inductors, ferrites and chokes
Power inductors, ferrite beads and common-mode chokes. Bodies are tall and heavy for their footprint, which matters for nozzle choice and placement speed.
The numbers you program
- Body size and height
- Terminal layout
- Tape width and pitch (often 12 or 16 mm)
Mistakes to watch
- Nozzle too small for the weight
- Tall part placed at full speed and shifted
- Two-terminal vs four-terminal footprint mixed up
Each of these has a check in PnP Toolkit. See the test results on the proof page.
