Connectors and switches
Odd shapes, tall bodies, pegs and mixed pad sizes. These are usually the last parts placed and the ones that need a special nozzle.
The numbers you program
- Body outline and height
- Pad layout from the land pattern
- Pick point
- Packaging (tape, tube or tray)
Mistakes to watch
- Wrong pick point on a hollow body
- Pegs not matched to board holes
- Placed before shorter parts and knocked
Each of these has a check in PnP Toolkit. See the test results on the proof page.
